At Varaždinske Toplice disc golf course past Saturday 2017 Mars Springs Series had begun. In past two years Mars Springs was held as a one-day tournament but this year the format has been extended and it will be held as a series of three one-day tournaments.

On Saturday March 12 Mars Springs was, with arrival of Spring, held for the second time. The weather was not ideal to play, with occasional showers or a bit stronger winds, but this did not stop the players to achieve some excellent results.

First Mars Spring was held in 2015, on March 21, and 18 players from Croatia and Hungary took part in it. Among male players the winner was Mike Gordon while female category was won by Danica Pajtak.

Mars Springs will in 2017 be played as three one-day event series at Disc golf course Varaždinske Toplice.

All tournaments will be Tier C licenced by the PDGA and will be played in two 18-hole rounds. At each of the events we expect 20-30 players from Croatia and neighbour countries.

    Second day of the Mars Springs Series is played on Sunday March 26.
    Each of the events will be held with the same daily schedule, and program will be held at the course and hotel Minerva congress hall.
